We are working with a large high-volume distribution operation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Shift Manager.
The Role:
As Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) you will have full accountability for night-shift warehouse operations leading large teams to deliver safe efficient and high-quality service within a complex high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage night-shift warehouse operations within a high-volume site processing circa 200 outbound loads per day
- Manage, coach and develop Team Leaders and warehouse teams across a workforce of (Apply online only) employees
- Drive performance against KPIs productivity service levels and customer requirements within a multi-customer FMCG operation
- Ensure robust Health & Safety compliance across all warehouse activities
- Handle employee relations matters confidently and professionally
- Work closely with senior site leadership to support operational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives
Experience Required:
- Proven experience within Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain operations in a high-volume environment
- Strong people management and leadership experience ideally managing large multi-layered teams
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety standards within warehousing and logistics
- Experience dealing with ER matters in a unionised or complex people environment
- Experience within FMCG consumer goods or 3PL environments (3PL desirable but not essential)
- Live within a commutable distance of Chesterfield.
