The business delivers chilled, ambient and contract logistics warehousing and distribution solutions for major branded manufacturers and continues to experience strong growth.
We are recruiting a Finance Operations Business Partner to work closely with senior operational stakeholders, including Directors and General Managers. The role supports financial performance across multiple sites within a defined region, providing accurate, timely and insightful financial information to drive operational and commercial decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with senior operational teams to deliver key financial metrics, variance analysis and performance insights for a contract logistics warehouse.
- Lead the delivery of budgets, forecasts and rolling forecasts supporting cost control and profitability improvements.
- Manage financial performance of customer contracts including monthly reviews, customer reporting and support for contract renewals and growth.
- Lead development and support of a small finance team while contributing to month‑end close, cash‑flow forecasting and process improvement initiatives.
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partnering or operational finance role within a 3PL logistics or contract warehousing environment.
- Strong management accounting background including journals, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and income deferrals.
- Experience supporting major FMCG or household goods customers within a contract‑based operating model.
- Qualified or part‑qualified (ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent practical experience.
