Loom Talent are supporting a client with the appointment of an Operations Support Manager in Bristol. This is an immediate requirement, initially as a 6 month FTC with prospects of becoming permanent. Our client is a global Logistics and Facilities provider that services the aviation industry.
As Operations Support Manager you will ensure that the business and teams provide a high quality and professional service. You will support the operational teams and add value to the contract in terms of customer service, staff development and net cost benefit.
- Operational & Financial Performance: Deliver operations within budget, controlling costs and meeting SLAs/KPIs through efficient working practices.
- Service Delivery: Maintain high service standards, proactively managing feedback, complaints, and contractual requirements.
- Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve strong performance, accountability, and succession planning.
- People & Performance Management: Support managers in managing performance, attendance, conduct, and disciplinary matters effectively.
- Resource Planning: Support effective rostering and staffing to ensure flexibility, resilience, and cost efficiency.
- Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure high standards of health, safety, quality, and compliance with all policies and regulations.
- Reporting & Analysis: Produce clear operational reports, analyse performance data, and implement corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with customers, partners, regulators, and workforce representatives.
The Operations Support Manager will set a positive and professional example to staff through appropriate behaviours and actions. You will require previous experience of working in a similar role within a Logistics, transport or other operational environment. You will have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to work cross functionally. You will be solutions focussed and drive a culture that embraces continuous improvement.
