Are you a WMS Specialist with experience with Blue Yonder? Are you as comfortable configuring the system from scratch in line with new projects and client needs? We are working with a growing, UK based, industry leading 3PL organisation looking for a skilled Blue Yonder specialist to bridge the gap between the system and client/company needs.
You will partner closely with solutions design experts and business sales teams to bring their plans to life, as well as operational warehousing teams and technical delivery - ensuring systems run efficiently and meet business needs especially in the lead up to an exciting period of growth.
As the Blue Yonder WMS Implementation & Configuration Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Establishing strong relationships and partnering with key stakeholders across multiple sites to understand the demand and challenges from the business.
- Conducting a needs analysis on the current WMS (Blue Yonder) processes and making changes to configuration to ensure all elements are fit for purpose.
- Management of system configuration from scratch, setting up new clients, new instances and projects.
- Conception and management of projects relating to system capability and data processing.
- Working as part of a wider team who manage various systems including WMS, TMS and OMS systems, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal utilisation.
- Focusing on automation, AI and other approaches to ensure the function is forward-thinking and innovative.
- Being the point of contact for all queries, challenges and using feedback to update and implement process improvements.
What do we need from you?
- 3-5 years in a similar role using Blue Yonder WMS system, comfortable with the configuration - we are looking for a 'doer'.
- Comfortable with data analytics, data manipulation and reporting, including (ideally) experience with Power BI and/or Azure.
- Understanding of the Blue Yonder system and the various modules, time management, stock management etc.
- Experience with system configuration and implementation.
- Previous experience within the logistics distribution and supply chain world or similar (retail, manufacturing etc).
