With the UK business boasting an already impressive customer portfolio spanning; Retail, E-Commerce, Fashion and FMCG.
The Role
The Warehouse Operations Manager – 3PL Contract Logistics (Multi-User) will play a critical role in leading all activities across a fast paced operation in Stoke, operating within a Multi-User, Open & Closed Book, 250,000+ sq. ft. site.
This position is a truly exciting opportunity for an experienced logistics professional to be at the forefront of a rapidly expanding organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Reporting Line: Reporting to the site Assistant General Manager.
- Operational Leadership: Provide strategic leadership and direction for all operational activities, including warehousing, distribution, strategy, continuous improvement and projects.
- Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing, collective site operational team (up to 150+ employees) through managerial direct reports.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain an already impressive, strong customer relationship base, ensuring ongoing satisfaction.
- Performance Metrics: Continue to evolve the organisational approach to KPI's, whilst ensuring existing and new site standardisation.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practice.
- Process Optimisation: Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
The Candidate
The successful candidate for the Warehouse Operations Manager – 3PL Contract Logistics (Multi-User) opportunity will have the following skills and experiences:
- A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain Background – Essential.
- A minimum of 5+ years Operations Manager / Senior Shift Operations Manager experience – Essential.
- Proven 3PL Multi-User experience required – Essential.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams – Essential.
- An individual truly excited by large scale growth challenges – Essential.
- Commutable to Stoke-on-Trent 5 x days per week – Essential.
