Job Description
Loom Talent are recruiting for a Logistics Manager for a global FMCG business in Uxbridge.
Our client is regarded as an industry leader and operate a first-class supply chain that supports its continued success.
You will play a key role in ensuring the business utilise the most suitable network solutions while providing strategic direction and maintaining compliance for logistics operations across the region.
- Oversee the management of a Third-Party network across the EU.
- Manage inventory across the network, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and in place.
- Oversee the supply chain and logistics strategy to optimize efficiency and productivity while maintaining compliance.
- Cost management and financial performance of the network.
- Establish structures, processes, and procedures to ensure the smooth and effective movement of goods and services from supplier to customer.
- Build positive Supplier Relationships and evaluate supplier capabilities.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role as a Logistics Manager within a global FMCG business. You will be calm under pressure and will require a deep knowledge of compliance and the ability to effectively manage change. You will be comfortable working towards set targets and financial constraints, those with previous project management experience would be encouraged to apply. While SAP experience is advantageous, strong ERP experience is essential. You will have great leadership and interpersonal skills that will allow you to form strong relationships at all levels. We are open to considering candidates from a variety of backgrounds but those from within Food, Pharma and heavily regulated sectors would be preferrable. Candidates should be educated to Degree level or equivalent.
