Loom Talent are partnering with a growing logistics business to recruit a Junior HR Business Partner to support key operational sites across the Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in both its people and operations, offering the chance to work closely with senior leaders whilst developing your career within a fast-paced environment.
Supporting one of two busy distribution sites, you'll become a trusted partner to the Site General Manager and leadership team, providing hands-on HR support whilst helping to shape a positive, engaged and high-performing culture. This is a role for someone who enjoys being visible within the business. Rather than sitting behind a desk, you'll spend your time building relationships across the operation, coaching managers, supporting employees and delivering practical HR solutions that make a genuine difference.
The Role
Working closely with operational leaders, you'll provide day-to-day HR support whilst partnering with the wider People team to deliver key initiatives across your site. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the Site General Manager and leadership team to provide coaching, guidance and support across all areas of the employee lifecycle, including performance management, employee relations, engagement and people development.
- Building strong relationships with managers, employees, customers and recruitment partners, acting as the first point of contact for day-to-day people matters and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Supporting workforce planning, onboarding, employee engagement initiatives and HR projects, whilst ensuring policies and procedures are applied consistently across the site.
- Producing and analysing people data, identifying trends and providing insight to support operational decision making, able to adapt your delivery to the audience, be it employees on the shop floor or the SLT.
About You
This role would suit an experienced HR Advisor with previous experience of liaising with key stakeholders, looking to step into their first Business Partner position, or an existing Junior HR Business Partner who enjoys working within a fast-paced operational environment. You'll also have:
- Previous experience within a generalist HR role supporting operational teams, ideally within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing or another fast-paced environment.
- A good understanding of UK employment legislation and confidence supporting managers with day-to-day employee relations matters.
- A proactive, resilient and hands-on approach, with the confidence to work autonomously whilst remaining part of a wider HR team.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) would be advantageous, although practical HR experience is equally valued.
