Loom Talent are delighted to be partnering with a leading service sector organisation to recruit a Head of Operations during an exciting period of growth. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced operational leader to take ownership of a multi-disciplinary operation, driving performance, customer excellence and continuous improvement across a national business. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and forming part of the senior leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping operational strategy while ensuring exceptional day-to-day execution.

The Role

  • Leading a team of approximately 30 employees, you will be responsible for the overall operational performance of the business, ensuring high levels of service, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to deliver commercial objectives, improve operational capability and support future growth.
  • Key responsibilities include:
    • Leading and developing high-performing operational teams, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
    • Driving operational performance through effective planning, resource management and data-led decision making.
    • Overseeing service delivery, warehousing, inventory management and operational planning.
    • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability and customer experience.
    • Working closely with commercial and support functions to deliver business objectives and maximise customer retention.
    • Supporting the ongoing development of systems, processes and operational best practice.
