About the Role
- This is a virtual position; however, there will be some requirement for travel for in-person work.
- Join our dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of children and families through delivering virtual-first psychological assessments for children and young people aged 0β25 years.
- We are looking for a passionate Assistant Educational Psychologist to support our mission of making psychological advice more accessible and create lasting impact through clarity, kindness, and expertise.
What you'll be doing:
- Developing your professional practice in a structured environment
- Gaining real, meaningful experience in educational psychology
- Being part of a team that genuinely cares about outcomes
- Supporting qualified EPs with statutory EHCP assessments
- Engaging with families, schools, and Local Authority teams
- Conducting observations and gathering pupil information
- Contributing to report writing and recommendations
- Collating and reviewing school-based evidence
- Working within clear statutory timelines
- Working predominantly virtually with flexibility built in
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of virtual psychological assessments for children and young people.
- Support the preparation of reports and documentation under the guidance of a qualified Educational Psychologist.
- Liaise with families and professionals to ensure smooth assessment processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards at all times.
- Support in service development including marketing and operations.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology (minimum 2:1 classification).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
- Desirable: At least 2 years experience of working with children and young people in an educational context.
