We are recruiting on behalf of a culturally strong and growing manufacturing / industrial services business based in Leigh. They design, produce and install products for the logistics and manufacturing sectors. The environment is fast paced with short lead times and most of their projects are bespoke.
This is a new role reporting to the Directors. The business has an established brand and clear tone of voice but operates in a highly niche market where clarity, credibility, and calm authority matter more than volume marketing. The emphasis is on strong writing and editorial judgement rather than performance marketing, SEO, or campaign execution.
This is primarily a writing-led role with a media/editorial bias, and key responsibilities include:
- Writing case studies from provided briefs (no client interviews required)
- Writing and editing training and internal documents
- Creating and refining website content
- Structuring and editing material so it is clear, credible, and on-brand
- Producing LinkedIn posts in an established brand voice and positioning
This is a key role for the business and they are more interested in your content writing experience, character, personality and fit with their team. There is no requirement to have any specific industry knowledge or experience.
For the in-person days at their offices in Leigh, there is easy / good access via public transport. If you prefer to drive, they have free onsite parking. Their normal business hours are Monday to Friday; 8.30am to 5pm and a full induction will be provided in their products, systems and processes.

- High level of personal drive and self-motivation
