Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £28,000 – £36,000 DOE. Up to £6,600 in uncapped bonus + an extra £2,000 for EV Qualification
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm, 42 hours/week, with 1 in 4 Saturdays on a rota basis
Due to expansion, Lookers BMW Crewe is recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join our workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, performing vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conducting services, and performing repairs.
Reporting to Ryan Jones, you will receive ongoing support and access to training opportunities, including manufacturer accredited schemes and Hybrid & Electric training to advance your career.
Our technicians are key to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages.
- Perform vehicle health checks with modern technology
- Conduct vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests
- Carry out additional repairs with customer approval
- Complete warranty repairs per manufacturer guidelines and documentation
- Road test vehicles to ensure faults are rectified
- Accurately complete all paperwork
The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and committed to high standards. A full UK driving license and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification are required. MOT license is a bonus.
Experience with the BMW brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand training can be provided.
