Workshop Controller Stoke BMW

Hours: Monday- Friday 8-6pm, Saturdays on rota basis

Salary: £36,000 plus bonus opportunity

Exciting opportunity has come up here at Stoke BMW/MINI as we are on the lookout for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team. It is the perfect opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Workshop Controller to advance their career.

As a Workshop Controller, you will:

  • Supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices.
  • Pro-actively review and prioritise the daily workload.
  • Be a crucial part of our business and the Aftersales Department.
  • Report into our Service Manager and receive ongoing support.
  • Have the opportunity for brand specific training to progress within the motor trade industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • The day to day running of the workshop, ensuring service and repair technicians achieve their daily targets.
  • Assisting the Service Manager in ensuring the department provides the best possible service to customers and achieves agreed profits and retention levels.
  • Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by implementing relevant quality checks.
  • Ensuring that all working practices comply with company, DVSA, health and safety and OEM policy.
  • Making sure all service work is carried out correctly, competently and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind.
  • Maintaining relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and providing support to Technicians during repairs.
  • Ensuring that high standards are achieved and maintained within the workshop and surrounding areas.
  • Liaising with colleagues and other departments to ensure a top quality service for customers.
  • Scheduling work to meet customer needs.
