We have a brand new opportunity for a Deliveries Team Leader to join our team and support the effective day‑to‑day operation of our Deliveries function at Group Fleet Gatshead.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, a solid understanding of fleet operations, and the ability to support both colleagues and management in a fast‑paced environment.
You will oversee daily vehicle progress, maintain accurate reporting, and contribute to cost‑efficient working practices.
You will also provide reliable holiday and absence cover to ensure continuity of service, and support colleagues with customer complaints during periods of high volume.
- Role Responsibilities
- Oversee daily Deliveries Team activity to ensure vehicles are progressed accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain reporting to support forecasting and team performance.
- Support colleagues with customer complaints during busy periods, escalating where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and enhance customer service.
- Attend stakeholder calls and support management with updates and actions.
- Provide holiday and absence cover to maintain service levels.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative and inclusive team culture.
