Location: Lookers Mercedes-Benz Tonbridge, flexible to work between sites (Mercedes-Benz Ashford and Mercedes-Benz Canterbury)

Contract Type: Permanent, full-time

Salary: Competitive Salary, based on experience

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08.30am – 5.00pm or 09.00am – 5.30pm (37.5 hours)

Lookers Mercedes-Benz is recruiting a highly dynamic and experienced Dealership Accountant to join our finance team on a permanent basis. Working alongside the accounts team, you will report to our Market Area Accountant and Financial Controller and be a strong leader in the team. Our Dealership Accountants provide financial support across the business, including operational, financial, and divisional management. They are strong leaders who integrate well with the management team.

  • Produce accurate monthly management accounts following group policies and deadlines
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly business reviews
  • Analyze and interpret dealership KPIs
  • Manage and report all dealership financial information
  • Develop the accounts team
  • Deputize for the Market Area Accountant

Experience in the motor trade is preferred but not essential if you have solid accounting experience. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, confident, and dynamic. Experience with Kerridge would be advantageous but is not necessary as training will be provided.
