We are one of the top three automotive retailers in the UK, proudly representing 32 manufacturer brands, selling a huge range of new and used vehicles from over 150 dealerships across the UK and Ireland. We believe our people are our greatest asset, and we’re committed to recognising the valuable contribution each person makes. That’s why we continue to invest in a leading rewards and benefits package designed to support your career, wellbeing, and life outside of work.

This is an exciting time to join Lookers, one of the UK’s largest automotive retail groups, as we embark on a journey to transform how we connect with our customers. We're moving away from one-size-fits-all marketing towards communications that are personalised, digital-first, AI-enabled and built around the moments that matter most in a customer's ownership journey. It's a genuine step change, and you'll join at exactly the right time to help shape that transformation.

We’re looking for a CRM Campaign Manager with proven experience of creating marketing programmes from scratch to deliver incremental business value. You’ll be responsible for planning and executing targeted, personalised campaigns that support commercial priorities across the business (e.g. after sales, used car sales etc.) This role will be initially centred on campaigns — rather than automated journeys — that are targeted, segmented and personalised. The successful candidate will be a strong marketer first and foremost, comfortable working at pace across multiple concurrent campaigns, and will work closely with the Customer Lifecycle Manager and wider Marketing team to ensure campaign activity complements always-on lifecycle programmes. This is a remote working role, combined with face-to-face meetings as needed, typically monthly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define an overall campaign plan to support specific areas of the business (e.g. used car sales, after sales, retention etc.)
  • Work with stakeholders across Marketing, Commercial and Digital teams to confirm propositions, define target audiences, agree campaign approach and align with broader marketing activity.
  • Plan and execute targeted campaign activity in response to commercial priorities such as used car offers, stock priorities and seasonal promotions.
  • Work with commercial stakeholders to understand current offers, stock priorities and sales objectives, translating these into effective, well-targeted CRM campaigns.
  • Build and execute campaign sends across relevant channels, personalising content to different audience segments, where it matters and delivers incremental value.
  • Use and extend our AI capabilities & extensions wherever possible to improve targeting, personalisation and time-to-market.
  • Drive best practice in the creation of marketing campaigns (design, copy and build) with ability to write compelling and on-brand copy tailored to the audience, offer and occasion.
  • Using our Power BI dashboards, create campaign performance summaries, providing regular insight to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify key performance insights to inform future targeting, content and offer decisions.
