Lookers Volvo is recruiting an ambitious and experienced Sales Executive to join our friendly and dedicated team on site. Specialising in both new and used car sales, you will work alongside our passionate sales team to deliver Lookers' first-class customer service.
As part of our hardworking sales team, you will be a team player with excellent communication skills, capable of building rapport with colleagues and customers. You will join one of the top automotive retailers in the UK and report to the Sales Manager, who will support your professional growth and skill development. Our onsite Sales Team includes two Sales Managers, a Business Manager, and six Sales Executives who will support you daily.
- Communicate with customers via email, telephone, and in person
- Recommend suitable vehicles based on customer needs
- Arrange and accompany customers on test drives
- Negotiate final sale prices
- Complete all necessary paperwork for each sale
- Create and maintain a site parking plan
- Assist with unloading and parking new/used vehicles correctly
- Help prepare cars for technicians in the workshop
- Keep the customer car park clear at all times
- Maintain site health and safety standards, ensuring roadways and pathways are clear
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be self-motivated, passionate about their work, and ambitious to meet targets. Previous experience in a similar role within the motor trade is preferred but not essential, as we welcome fresh talent. A full UK driving license is required, as you may need to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market.
