OTE up to £52,600 (including £46,000 basic + £6,600 bonus potential). A rare opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading Volvo workshops. We’re looking for an experienced, highly skilled Master Technician to join our Chelmsford Volvo team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on complex diagnostics, technical leadership and delivering right‑first‑time repairs in a modern, well‑equipped workshop. You’ll report to an experienced Aftersales Manager and benefit from ongoing support, structured development and access to manufacturer‑accredited training, including Hybrid & Electric pathways to accelerate your career further. What You’ll Be Doing:
- Advanced diagnostics – identifying and resolving complex faults to manufacturer standards
- Technical leadership – supporting and mentoring technicians across the workshop
- Quality control – preparing and inspecting new and used Volvo vehicles
- Customer excellence – maintaining exceptional workmanship and service levels
What You’ll Bring:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a qualified technician role, ideally with a premium brand
- Exceptional diagnostic capability and strong mechanical knowledge
- Previous experience as a Master Technician or equivalent senior‑level role
- NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Repair (or equivalent)
- Confident use of diagnostic tools and equipment
- A full, clean UK driving licence
