Overview
Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Newcastle Skoda & Kia Dealership
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £23,100 – £26,250 per annum (depending on experience)

We\’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our friendly and experienced Accounts team at our multi-brand dealership in Newcastle supporting our Skoda and Kia franchises. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-established team within a reputable motor trade group.
Responsibilities
- Handling daily banking and processing incoming payments across all departments
- Logging and processing supplier invoices via the purchase ledger
- Preparing and submitting BACS transfer requests
- Processing manufacturer warranty payments
Essential Skills / Experience:
- A keen eye for accuracy and a passion for getting the details right
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Confidence in working independently while also being a team player
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- A high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information
- Flexibility to support the wider team during busy periods or holiday cover
