Hours: 40 hours between Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am - 12:30pm
Lookers Stoke are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join their fantastic workshop. While working alongside other experienced technicians, you will carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology, conduct vehicle services and carry out any additional repairs. You will report to the Accomplished Aftersales Manager Leanne Cresswell, receiving on‑going support to enable you to perform to the very best. Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle health checks using the latest technology
- Conduct vehicle services in accordance with manufacturers guidelines and customer requests
- Carry out additional repairs once authorised by the customer
- Perform warranty repairs per the manufacturer’s guidelines and complete relevant paperwork
- Take the customer’s vehicle out on a road test to ensure all faults are rectified
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, motor industry experience (brand or non‑brand), and a full and valid UK driving licence. Previous brand experience is desirable but not essential; brand accreditation training will be provided. Diagnostic, MOT and EV experience are also desirable.
