Reward Analyst Hybrid Working | Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (Depending on Experience)
We’re pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join the People team as a Reward Analyst. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in this area and a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills and a passion for ensuring our reward frameworks are fair, competitive and aligned with Lookers strategic goals.
About the role:
- Support the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of Lookers reward strategy, including pay, benefits and recognition.
- Analyse internal and external reward data to provide insight and recommendations that inform decision-making.
- Manage the annual incentive plans to ensure smooth execution and alignment with business timelines.
- Support in managing the forecasting and budgeting processes related to compensation costs, including headcount cost projections and incentive modelling.
- Support on benchmarking activities, ensuring Lookers remains competitive and aligned with market trends.
- Lead on all bonus processes, including modelling, calculating and submission, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
- Maintain and develop reward-related policies, tools and communications.
- Collaborate with Operations and Finance leads to ensure reward solutions are aligned with business needs and budgets.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on reward matters to managers and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development of reward dashboards and reporting tools to enhance transparency and insight into the effectiveness of reward and incentive schemes.
About You:
- Has strong analytical and presentation skills, expert in Excel skills, with experience working with reward or HR data.
- They will be seen as an expert in data and should have confidence in their approach, with experience of working with Exco and senior stakeholders, making representations, decisions and recommendations on pay and reward.
- Is detail‑oriented and comfortable working with complex datasets and financial models.
- Is confident communicating insights and recommendations to a range of stakeholders.
- Is proactive, collaborative and committed to continuous improvement.
- Experience working in a Reward or HR analytics role is essential.
- Experience of working in multi‑site retail business and an understanding of low margin business impact would be desirable.
- Has a good understanding of reward principles, pay structures and benchmarking methodologies (desirable but not essential).
