Contract Type: Permanent

Salary: OTE up to £42,000 (Uncapped); £34,000 to £36,000 basic depending on qualifications, plus £3,000 Productivity Bonus and Time Saved Bonus Scheme

Hours: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday between 8am and 6pm - Saturday on a rota basis.

Lookers Buckinghamshire Jaguar Land Rover are recruiting for a Bodyshop Technician to join their fantastic facility. You will play a vital role, carrying out vehicle repairs using the latest technology. Here at Lookers Buckinghamshire you will report to the Accomplished Aftersales Manager, who will give ongoing support to ensure you have the tools needed to succeed in your role. Our Bodyshop Technicians play a vital role within our Aftersales team by delivering first class customer service every time. If you are self‑motivated, eager to learn and able to work to the highest standards, we want you to be part of our success.

Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing and fitting parts to damaged vehicles
  • Acting as a multiskilled Cosmetic Repair Technician undertaking all aspects of repair as required
  • Working effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop Technicians
  • Using PPE and adhering to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairs
  • Adhering to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairs

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Bodyshop or Cosmetic Technician
  • Self‑motivated, ambitious, eager to learn and able to work to the highest standards
  • Full UK driving license
  • Experience working with brand vehicles would be advantageous, although not essential and training will be provided
