Contract Type: Permanent, full time

Salary: OTE up to £50,000 per annum plus company car! (including £25,000 basic plus uncapped commission)

Hours: 44 hours per week, Monday – Friday 08:30 – 18:00, Saturday 09:00 – 17:00 & Sunday 11:00 – 15:00 (One day off in the week and weekends on rota basis)

This is an exciting opportunity to join the used car department at Lookers Leeds, a high‑performing site with a strong reputation for customer service and consistent used car volumes. The role offers access to a wide range of quality used and approved vehicles, supported by a strong level of enquiries from both online and showroom traffic.

You’ll be working within a supportive and experienced management structure that is focused on developing its people and helping them succeed. With clear processes, ongoing training, and a transparent commission structure, this role provides excellent earning potential and genuine career progression within the Lookers Group. It’s an ideal opportunity for a driven Sales Executive looking to develop their career with one of the UK’s leading automotive retail groups.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with customers via email, telephone and in person
  • Suggesting suitable vehicles based on customer needs
  • Arranging and accompanying customers on test drives
  • Negotiating the final price for the sale
  • Completing the relevant paperwork for each sale
  • Liaising with various departments within the dealership to provide the best service to all our customers

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be self‑motivated to crack on with the job and be passionate about what they do. You will be expected to hit targets so being ambitious and hard‑working is essential. Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade would be preferred but not essential as we are always on the look out for new/fresh talent to join our team. You will hold a full UK driving licence as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market!
