Location: Bishop Stortford, England, United Kingdom
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Salary: Up to £80,000 OTE (£50,000 to £55,000 basic plus bonus)
Hours: 44 Hours – Mon to Fri 9.00am to 6.00pm (one late finish to 7pm and a day off midweek), Sat 9.00am to 5.00pm and Sunday 11.00am to 3.00pm (rota basis)

Role Overview
General Sales Manager – lead an established department in an electrifying franchise. Act as a role model for customer service excellence, develop meaningful relationships with customers and coach and motivate the team.
Responsibilities
- Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone & showroom
- Managing staff performance from structured 121’s to training & development
- Implementing department targets and brand KPI's
- Responsible for buying in vehicles and up to date stock pricing
- Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department
- Manage and own customer satisfaction
- Oversee day to day showroom operations including vehicle valuations, sales, workshop prep, imaging and presentation
- Collaborate with the divisional buyer, prep technicians, detailers and photography team to deliver marketing standards
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a premium automotive environment with transactional sales and delivering outstanding customer service
- Proven track record in leading a highly motivated team
- Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and addressing shortfalls
- Understanding of finance and insurance product regulations
- Excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills
- Full UK driving licence
