Lookers are proud to present our Jumpstart Apprenticeship Programme. During your apprenticeship with us, you’ll gain hands-on experience from day one and have the chance to earn while you learn. Our technicians play a vital role within our Aftersales team by delivering first-class customer service every time. We want you to be part of our success.
Responsibilities:- Testing of parts and systems to ensure correct working.
- Undertaking repair and maintenance of vehicle parts including clutches, gearboxes, tyres, brakes, and suspension.
- Maintenance of electronic systems including onboard entertainment systems.
- Carrying out bumper to bumper overview, service, and inspection.
- Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.
- GCSE grades 9 – 4 (A – C) or equivalent in English, Maths and Science.
- In Scotland, applicants must have or be predicted to achieve Scottish National 5 Grades A - C or above in English, Maths and either a Science or Technical subject.
- We accept predicted grades and conditional offers can be made based on predicted grades.

- You’ll be someone who pays extra attention to detail, eager to learn and fully committed to completing this three-year training programme.
- Good levels of literacy and numeracy.

Training will be delivered using a combination of virtual classroom remote learning and face-to-face block release weeks at our state-of-the-art training centres. In the workplace, your personal, dedicated mentor will support your continued learning as you apply the skills and knowledge you have gained while on programme with us.
