Salary: up to £34,000 OTE (basic £28,000 + bonus). Hours: 42 hours per week Monday-Friday 08:00-17:30, Saturday on rota 08:00-12:00.
As a Senior Service Advisor you will take ownership of the full customer journey, arranging MOTs, services and repairs via telephone, finalising paperwork, and supporting the management team to deliver Lookers first‑class customer service.
You must have previous experience in the automotive industry, knowledge of Kerridge/ADP or other automotive systems is a plus, and a full UK driving licence is required.
Responsibilities
- Communicating efficiently with all customers for service, repair and MOT bookings.
- Advising customers about warranty cover and upselling additional parts / accessories that will benefit the customer.
- Liaising with the full Aftersales department to organise and schedule appointments, based on workload and call volumes.
- Maintaining accurate customer records, and updating the systems when any bookings have been made.
- Supporting the Aftersales Manager, and ensuring all processes are followed accurately by the other team members on the Service desk.
Qualifications
- Exceptional communication skills, with a customer‑first approach.
- Strong teamworking abilities, alongside effective organisation and time management.
- Confidence working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Service Advisor experience gained from a leading automotive dealer is essential.
- You’ll be energetic, have a warm personality and a real passion for delivering a first‑class customer experience.
- Previous experience using Kerridge/ADP would be an advantage, as well as having knowledge of other essential dealer systems.
