Lookers Middlesbrough Ford and HUB is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Vehicle Sales Administrator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing team within a well-established dealership, working closely with experienced administrators and sales executives.
About The Role
This position is more than a typical Sales Administrator role. You will report directly to our knowledgeable Dealership Accountant, gaining hands-on experience and mentorship. It’s a great opportunity to develop your skills and build a rewarding career in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately add newly purchased vehicles to stock records
- Maintain and update vehicle stock records
- Ensure all vehicle documents (V5s, MOT history, service records) are complete, accurate, and securely filed
- Tax all sold vehicles in advance of delivery
- Create accurate sales invoices promptly, aligned with customer order forms
- Verify documentation and payment before vehicle release to customers
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience using Kerridge is an advantage, but not essential – full training will be provided
