Overview

New Car Sales Manager role at Lookers Motor Group Limited. Location: Burnley, Lancashire area with Monday to Friday plus weekend rota. Salary: up to £45k basic plus bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the full sales process, from web inquiry to phone and showroom.
  • Managing staff performance from structured 1:1s to training and development.
  • Implementing department targets and brand KPIs.
  • Responsible for buying in vehicles and maintaining up-to-date stock pricing.
  • Ensuring full FCA compliance within the Sales Department.
  • Manage and own customer satisfaction and showroom presentation from vehicle valuation to imaging.

You will oversee the day-to-day running of the showroom, including vehicle valuations and sales, and work with the divisional buyer, prep Technicians, detailers, and photography team to deliver marketing standards.

Qualifications & Experience

You will have prior experience in a similar premium automotive environment with a proven track record in transactional sales and delivering exceptional customer service experiences. You will have experience leading a highly motivated team and know how to get the best out of each team member. Experience monitoring financial performance against budget and the ability to identify and address shortfalls promptly is essential. You will need the ability to understand finance and insurance product regulations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate a sale.
