Location: Maidstone Mercedes-Benz
Salary: up to £44,000 OTE (depending on experience)
Hours: 44 hours per week, Mon to Fri 8am to 5pm plus Saturday as required
Responsibilities:
- Lead your team to success in a busy fast paced environment
- Ensure that all customers at retail and workshop areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day
- Achieves sales by prospecting, acquiring and maintaining accounts and actively promoting Parts and associated promotions to potential customers
- Answers customers’ questions regarding technical problems, warranties and repairs in a manner that is easily understood and does not use excessive technical jargon
- Actively support company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information
- Manage accurate data collection and provide forecasts on departmental performance
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate will have a dedication to flawless customer service and will be passionate about the motor trade industry. Having lots of enthusiasm, drive and motivation is key to consistently achieve fantastic results. Previous experience in a similar position and within the motor trade industry is essential. You will need to hold a full UK driving license as you may be expected to drive some of the most prestigious cars on the market. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and can easily develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues, the client base and manufacturers. We’re looking for someone who demonstrates meticulous attention to detail and accurate record-keeping, is positive & friendly. We’re looking for a Parts Manager who demonstrates integrity, discretion and objectivity with the ability to work well under pressure, handle conflicting demands, and schedule work appropriately.
