Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am- 5pm (37.5 hours)
Salary: up to Β£52,500 per annum depending on experience
Are you motivated by balancing balance sheets, spending hours reviewing budgets and expenditure, or producing monthly, quarterly and full year end Accounts? Ideal. You\βre almost the perfect candidate for this role. Accompany this with a proven track record in an Accountancy role ideally in the motor trade and you\βre exactly the person we\βre looking for.
You\βll need to be business savvy, articulate and investigative with an organised approach to get the job done well. You\βll be required to work with a wide team and with the support of our Financial Controller.

- Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements; support period-end closings and financial analysis.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Maintain the general ledger; reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet items.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee vendor payments and customer collections; resolve billing discrepancies.
- Inventory & Cost Accounting: Track vehicle/parts inventory; perform floor plan reconciliations.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to policies, GAAP, and tax regulations; support audits and internal controls.
- Tax & Filing Support: Assist with tax reporting (sales, property, income); liaise with auditors as needed.
- Management Support: Provide financial insights and assist with budgeting and forecasts.
