We are looking for a Warranty Advisor with experience in automotive warranty claims and processes to join the fantastic team at our Vauxhall and Kia dealership in Chester. The role is based within our Aftersales Department and you will be part of an enthusiastic and friendly team that will support and guide you through your new role.

Contract Type: Permanent, full‑time

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm (flexibility with start/finish times)

Responsibilities:

  • Examine completed warranty repair orders
  • Prepare claim forms and supporting material
  • Ensure maximum return from the manufacturer – for all warranty work including the issue of credit notes and associated paperwork
  • Review warranty reporting systems with the line manager to identify improvements and administer warranty policy in the best interests of the dealership, manufacturer, and customer
  • Input manufacturer warranty payments, return of warranty parts to manufacturer and reconciliation of warranty schedule
  • Keep accurate records of warranty submissions, credits, rejections and customer contributions toward goodwill claims

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for an individual with a technical background in the automotive industry. You will possess attention to detail and strong organisational skills; this is essential when prioritising and scheduling work appropriately. You will also be great at talking to customers and showcase a friendly but professional manner, and be able to build strong and lasting relationships with your fellow colleagues. Essential IT skills – ability to navigate the Microsoft Office packages easily.
