Parts Plus Chelmsford is recruiting a Parts Delivery Driver to join their busy, dynamic team. As a driver, you will collect and deliver parts to our retail, trade, and corporate customers, working to consistently exceed customer expectations and provide an exceptional level of service. You will be reporting to the Parts Manager. With support from the wider team and ongoing training opportunities, you can expect a clear career path and opportunities to accelerate your career.
Drivers at Lookers prioritise time and workload efficiently, maintain vehicles to ensure they are clean and roadworthy, and drive safely in accordance with current road and traffic legislation. You will notify your line manager of any defects, damage, or incidents on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver parts to customers efficiently and with accuracy
- Obtain authorised signatures and printed names from customers for all parts delivered
- Complete the Van Sales Delivery logs
- Ensure the van is loaded correctly and safely
- Drive in a safe and courteous manner within the law
Key Skills / Qualifications:
- Confidence to work independently and on various routes
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Team player
For insurance purposes we require all candidates to have held their full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years. You will also be reliable, have excellent communication skills, be flexible and approach your role with a positive and professional attitude. Having experience in a similar delivery role and a passion for providing great customer service is advantageous.
