The predicted salary is between 28000 - 42000 £ per year.

Position: Permanent Full Time

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 18:00 with 1 day off during the week. Every Saturday working 09:00 - 17:00. Sunday on a rota basis working from 11:00 - 15:00.

Location: Walton on Thames Volkswagen

Salary: £35kpa Basic Plus OTE

Responsibilities

  • Coaching and development of the sales team, acting as a role model for customer service excellence.
  • Developing long‑lasting, meaningful relationships with customers and motivating the team to do the same.
  • Identifying appropriate funding and insurance options for customers, maintaining compliance and fairness.
  • Ensuring accurate information is given when negotiating vehicle sales, understanding all aspects of financial and insurance product regulations.
  • Monitoring finance and insurance performance against expectations, maintaining a compliant sales process.
  • Working with management to coach and develop the skills of the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Assisting management in planning, forecasting trends, and revising dealership plans on an ongoing basis.
  • Acquiring a high level of product knowledge to competently answer all customer queries and logging all activity to monitor and measure outcomes and provide regular feedback to management teams.

Qualifications

  • Previous management experience within the automotive industry, proven track record of coaching and developing sales teams.
  • Experience monitoring financial performance against budget, identifying and addressing shortfalls.
  • Solid understanding of financial and insurance product regulations and regulatory requirements for sales of finance and insurance products.
  • Well‑organised, process‑orientated, with a hands‑on approach.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
