Audi – Vehicle Technician | Join Our Established Team at North Shields Paint and Body Centre
Permanent, Full Time
Realistic annual earnings: £38,155–£52,656 (depending on level, retention bonuses and HVE qualification) + Colleague car scheme available
Flexible hours available: 40 hours Monday–Friday (08:30–17:00), plus 1 in 3 Saturdays (08:30–12:30) or a fixed 4‑day working week (Mon–Thu / Tue–Fri, 42 hours)
An excellent opportunity has opened at Audi Preparation Centre for skilled, motivated Vehicle Technicians to join our established and high‑performing site. This role offers the chance to develop your career within a trusted, well‑supported workshop environment. With full Audi manufacturer training provided, you’ll carry out high‑quality servicing, repairs and diagnostics, ensuring every customer leaves with complete confidence in their vehicle.
Salary & Progression Structure
- PDI Technician: £38,155 realistic annual earnings (based on £28,000 basic)
- Vehicle Technician: £41,230 realistic annual earnings (based on £31,000 basic)
- Vehicle Technician (Brand Qualified) – £43,945 realistic annual earnings (based on £34,000 basic, includes HVE qualification)
- Senior / Diagnostic Technician – £47,385 realistic annual earnings (based on £38,000 basic, includes HVE qualification)
- Master Technician – £52,656 realistic annual earnings (based on £43,000 basic, includes HVE qualification)
All earnings include basic salary, retention payments, productivity bonus, Saturday overtime, plus an additional £2,000 HVE qualification payment for qualified levels.
What You’ll Need
- Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 qualification
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience as a vehicle technician
