About the Group:
This role sits within The Venture Group, so alongside LOOK Self Storage you’ll also bring some digital marketing consistency to Bourne Space (serviced offices), VPEG (precision engineering), and Ecomec (HVAC). It’s an unusual breadth for a coordinator-level role, and that’s a genuine selling point. LOOK Self Storage is a modern, multi-site self-storage business operating across Dorset. Our brand promise – “We LOOK After You” – isn’t just a tagline; it’s how we actually run the business: warm, named-team service that the big chains can’t replicate.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Running organic and paid digital channels: Google Ads, social media advertising, SEO improvements – working closely with our external digital agencies
- Creating content that earns attention: website, blog posts, social posts, email campaigns
- Building LOOK’s reputation: growing our Google Reviews, activating our Bournemouth RFC sponsorship, and making our named team visible across every site
- Partnering with Sales to turn more enquiries into bookings: tracking lead sources, refining the funnel, and using persona-level insight to get smarter over time
- Keeping an eye on the numbers: monthly funnel reporting, quarterly competitor sweeps, and keeping our marketing data clean and trustworthy
- Bringing some of the above to Bourne Space, VPEG, and Ecomec as you settle in
What we’re looking for:
- You don’t need to be a specialist in everything – but you do need to be genuinely competent across the digital marketing toolkit, comfortable with data and working across both B2C and B2B audiences.
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, social media advertising, and SEO – you’ve managed campaigns, not just read about them
- Confidence in a CRM for pipeline management, email automation, and reporting
- Solid Google Analytics & reporting skills – you can build a dashboard & explain what it means
- Comfortable creating content – writing, Canva, social media and the editorial judgement to get tone right for different audiences
- A working knowledge of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) for productivity and content drafting
- Some experience updating websites via a CMS
A Bournemouth-area base is important — we meet in person weekly & site visits are part of the job.
