We're looking for a motivated, compassionate and resilient Bank Support Workers to join our Learning Disabilities Social Care Service in Stratford. £14.80 per hour, Zero hour contract. What you'll do:

  • Observe and monitor the customer's behaviours, the duration, the intensity, and the damage, as well as factors that may alleviate or trigger the behaviour.
  • Plan appropriate intervention to modify and resolve the behaviour.
  • Exhibit superb interpersonal and relationship skills and handle psychologically behavioural changes.
  • Collaborate with different support organizations accessible in the community.
  • Present and provide feedback to other professionals in a formal setting.
  • Report possible cases of abuse, neglect, or endangerment appropriately.
  • Participate in reviewing and designing behavioural interventions plans.
  • Implement behaviour support plans.
  • Measure goals and objectives of behaviour support plans to ensure they are being met.
  • Communicate with parents and care managers regarding customer's progress in the absence of management.
  • Analyse the behavioural interventions to determine their success.
  • Assist customers in identifying inappropriate behaviours and develop better behaviour alternatives.
  • Assist newly recruited staff in facilitating behavioural interventions.
  • Maintain up to date accurate records of customer's service being provided and behavioural data.

What you'll bring:

  • Essential: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with customers with Autism/Behaviour that challenges and Diabetics.
  • Good IT skills
  • Desirable: Experience with PBS Approach
