We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our Mental Health Social Care Service in Slough.

£33,130.00 per annum, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with flexibility to work weekends or after 5pm.

What you'll do:

  • Leadership of staff team/staffing
  • Ensure sickness absence is robustly managed
  • Ensure annual leave is managed effectively on a quarterly basis
  • Ensure the Rota is completed ahead of time and completing payroll weekly
  • To ensure the safety of customers, staff and visitors by ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met
  • Ensure Fire Drills and FRA actions are completed on time
  • Ensure all relevant tests and checks are completed on time and certificates are stored on the drive
  • Ensure that all safeguarding cases and incidents are managed and reported in line with safeguarding policy
  • Coproduce initiatives that add value to the service or solve a particular problem
  • Achieve all service KPIs as detailed on new score cards
  • Support the Contract Manager to achieve a surplus at or over 16%
  • Monitor spending and usage of supplies and reduce spending to only that is required
  • Ensure void loss is below 6.5%
  • Ensure referrals are assessed and the decision is communicated to the commissioners within 28 days
  • Provide information on the progress of voids weekly
  • Ensure all SPs and RMPs and room checks are 100% completed by completing monthly audits
  • Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Service Manager/Head of Service
