We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Team Leader to join our Mental Health Social Care Service in Slough. £33,130.00 per annum, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with flexibility to work weekends or after 5pm.

What you’ll do:
- Leadership of staff team/staffing
- Ensure sickness absence is robustly managed
- Ensure annual leave is managed effectively on a quarterly basis
- Ensure the Rota is completed ahead of time and completing payroll weekly (discuss with contract manager to lead in this and ensure the service remains well-led).
- Health and safety: To ensure the safety of customers, staff and visitors by ensuring that all health and safety requirements are met.
- Ensure Fire Drills and FRA actions are completed on time.
- To ensure all relevant tests and checks are completed on time and certificates are stored on the drive.
- Safeguarding: Ensure that all safeguarding cases and incidents are managed and reported in line with safeguarding policy / incident management policy and that all relevant safeguarding reports / incident reports are recorded and actioned on RIVO.
- Coproduction: Coproduce initiatives that add value to the service or solve a particular problem.
- Ensure there are weekly evidenced activities within service, and these are embedded in staff PDR's.
- Achieve all service KPIs as detailed on new score cards, specifically support the Contract Manager to achieve a surplus at or over 16%.
- Monitor spending and usage of supplies and reduce spending to only that is required.
- Work with the team to actively reduce arrears, to achieve a target of 3.2%.
- Ensure void loss is below 6.5%.
- Ensure referrals are assessed and the decision is communicated to the commissioners within 28 days.
- Provide information on the progress of voids weekly.
- Ensure all SP's and RMPs and room checks are 100% completed by completing monthly audits.
- Carry out other administrative tasks as relevant to the service and directed by the Service Manager/Head of Service.
- Report directly to your line manager (Contract Service Manager).
