Location: Slough, Manchester or Cambridge, United Kingdom. The actual location of this job is in the United Kingdom. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Based at one of our UK sites, this role offers the opportunity to shape and deliver high-impact global marketing initiatives that support Lonza’s Integrated Biologics business. You will help drive brand awareness, customer engagement and lead generation through campaigns, events and analytics that influence strategic decision-making.

This is an office-first role. Working together in person supports close, real-time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do:

  • Co-develop and execute global marketing campaigns across events, webinars and content initiatives to build brand awareness, generate leads and drive engagement; this scope excludes Digital Marketing campaigns and channels.
  • Ensure strong alignment with Strategic Marketing, Sales, Digital, and Branding & Advertising teams to deliver consistent, high-quality campaigns on time.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of events, including conferences, tradeshows, customer engagements and site visits, ensuring exceptional experience quality and maximum commercial impact.
  • Own reporting and analytics for Marketing Operations channels (events, webinars, campaign execution), maintaining accurate, up-to-date insights through PowerBI and Wrike; this scope excludes Digital Marketing analytics.
  • Manage budgets for Marketing Operations channels (events, webinars), ensuring transparency, control and accurate spend tracking.
  • Drive operational excellence through cross-functional collaboration, process optimisation and standardisation to support continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships across teams and contribute to the development of scalable processes that enhance marketing effectiveness.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in marketing communications, campaign execution or event management within a B2B environment; experience in pharma/biotech or CDMO services is highly beneficial.
  • Strong skills in multi-channel campaign execution, event coordination, stakeholder management and content alignment.
  • Skilled in data management, reporting and presenting insights; familiarity with PowerBI, Wrike, Salesforce or Marketo is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and project-management abilities, with strong attention to detail and a data-driven mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, vendors and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally to support events and customer engagements.
