Join our R&D team in Slough to conduct key laboratory experiments and support life-changing manufacturing solutions on a 12-month contract.
This is a fully site‑based role.
Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

The hourly rate for this position in the United Kingdom is expected to range between £17.00 and £20.00.
Initial salary placement within this range will be determined based on role‑related factors such as experience, qualifications, and expected contribution.
What you will do
- Advance key scientific pipelines by conducting routine laboratory experiments and routine subcultures.
- Record, analyze, and document critical experimental data accurately according to SOPs.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and manage essential technical supplies to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Uphold the highest quality standards by adhering strictly to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and site Health & Safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members across the site.
- Assist in R&D project planning and execution, driving efficiency across scientific workflows.
- Develop your professional scientific skills within a leading international healthcare CDMO environment.
What we are looking for
- Direct hands‑on experience in laboratory techniques, particularly mammalian cell subculturing workflows.
- Demonstrated working knowledge and practical adherence to GLP standards and lab safety protocols.
- Strong digital capability, including proficiency in the MS Office suite for data recording and communication.
- Previous experience working within a Biotech, Pharma, or CDMO environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple experimental tasks effectively.
- Strong team player with professional fluency in English and proactive communication skills.
