What you will do
- Carry out routine daily and weekly calibration checks to ensure laboratory equipment is compliant and ready for use.
- Prepare analytical buffers to support laboratory methods and scientific processes.
- Manage laboratory consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are available at points of use.
- Order consumables through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with internal stores.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning glassware and plasticware and supporting washroom operations.
- Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, and communication with relevant teams.
- Clean and prepare water baths and other equipment in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures.
- Record data accurately in electronic and paper formats, following GMP and Data Integrity principles.
What we are looking for
- Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a support or technician role.
- Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, calibration processes, and maintenance requirements.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively.
- Familiarity with laboratory health, safety, and quality standards.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant workspace.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
