What you will do
- Maintain tidy, highly compliant, and safe laboratory workspaces to support day‑to‑day operational efficiency for our scientific teams.
- Act as the vital site contact for receiving, unpacking, inspecting, and tracking key incoming material deliveries.
- Organize inventory and coordinate stock of R&D consumables and chemical components across local storerooms and designated use points.
- Place internal and external system orders, obtain vendor quotes, and coordinate seamless departmental shipments with our Shipping team.
- Move materials, equipment, and laboratory waste safely while using designated physical lifting devices and manual handling techniques.
- Partner closely with the R&D Lab Manager, Equipment Manager, and scientists to rapidly troubleshoot operational workspace issues.
- Promote a proactive safe working environment, championing workplace standards and mentoring peers on safe material handling.
- What we are looking for
- Entry‑level experience or transferable skills in materials coordination, logistical support, stockroom tracking, or an inventory‑driven environment.
- Awareness or practical experience in safe manual handling, including comfort operating lifting devices like pallet trucks.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with an excellent eye for detail when handling complex parts.
- Collaborative team players with friendly, concise communication skills to partner smoothly with various internal stakeholders.
- Professional‑level English language fluency to interpret technical documentation and safety signs accurately.
