You will join our QC Microbiology team, where you will help ensure the quality and safety of our products through essential microbiological testing. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on laboratory work and wants to contribute directly to the successful delivery of life‑changing therapies.

This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:

  • Carry out microbiological testing to support product qualifications, routine testing and environmental monitoring.
  • Record and document results in line with all GMP and cGMP requirements.
  • Review data, identify concerns and communicate issues to QC management.
  • Maintain laboratory standards through housekeeping, equipment care and inventory checks.
  • Support media, reagent and method qualification activities.
  • Follow all relevant safety procedures when performing laboratory tasks.
  • Keep GMP training up to date and complete required learning on time.

What we are looking for:

  • BSc in a life science discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Practical experience in microbiological techniques.
  • Clear understanding of good documentation practices.
  • Ability to assess results, spot anomalies and escalate concerns.
  • Experience with routine laboratory maintenance and inventory control.
  • Strong awareness of safety and GMP expectations.
