What you will do:
- Carry out routine daily and weekly calibration checks to ensure laboratory equipment is compliant and ready for use
- Prepare analytical buffers to support laboratory methods and scientific processes
- Manage laboratory consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are available at points of use
- Order consumables through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with internal stores
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning glassware and plasticware and supporting washroom operations
- Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, and communication with relevant teams
- Clean and prepare water baths and other equipment in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures
- Record data accurately in electronic and paper formats, following GMP and Data Integrity principles
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a support or technician role
- Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, calibration processes, and maintenance requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively
- Familiarity with laboratory health, safety, and quality standards
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant workspace
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
