What you will do:

  • Carry out routine daily and weekly calibration checks to ensure laboratory equipment is compliant and ready for use
  • Prepare analytical buffers to support laboratory methods and scientific processes
  • Manage laboratory consumables, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are available at points of use
  • Order consumables through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and coordinate with internal stores
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness by cleaning glassware and plasticware and supporting washroom operations
  • Process laboratory deliveries, including receipt, storage, and communication with relevant teams
  • Clean and prepare water baths and other equipment in line with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) procedures
  • Record data accurately in electronic and paper formats, following GMP and Data Integrity principles

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience working in a laboratory environment, ideally in a support or technician role
  • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment, calibration processes, and maintenance requirements
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage inventory effectively
  • Familiarity with laboratory health, safety, and quality standards
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, efficient, and compliant workspace
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
