Statutory & Tax Reporting Manager – Manchester, UK. Hybrid Working – 2 days in the office, 3 days WFH.
Responsibilities
- Lead projects as overall project leader for GBSO across the towers.
- Represent the R2R tower in special projects, ensuring requirements are captured, projects are scoped correctly, resources allocated, and execution is followed-through, while connecting relevant business partners end-to-end.
- Develop, with the team, a playbook and execution model for GBSO / Corporate Finance.
- In Group M&A projects, participate as part of the relevant finance workstreams.
- Support operational initiatives across towers, working with tower heads and OEs on GBSO/tower initiatives and ad-hoc requests.
- Develop transformation capabilities, mentor team members, and embed best practices to ensure sustainability of impact.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience with some tax experience (preferably UK, Spain, and/or Netherlands).
- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent tax qualification.
- Financial accounting experience including IFRS, SAP, HFM, tax accounting, and knowledge of European tax legislation.
- Experience with SAP and HFM is preferable.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and open to learning other functions and participating in projects.
- Big4 experience is highly desirable.
