We are looking for a Mechanical Quality Assurance Manager to join a busy residential new build project in Hackney Wick. The scheme has over 450 apartments and you will be working with the Mechanical Contractor, ensuring quality standards are upheld throughout the project.
The role:
- Leading the quality assurance function for mechanical building services packages, ensuring works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, industry standards and client requirements.
- Developing, implementing and managing project QA/QC procedures, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and quality management systems across multiple projects.
- Conducting inspections and audits of mechanical installations, including HVAC, pipework, public health and specialist mechanical systems.
- Managing quality documentation and compliance records, ensuring all inspections, test results and commissioning records are accurately maintained and readily available for client review.
- Coordinating quality inspections with site teams, consultants and client representatives, ensuring hold points and witness inspections are completed in line with programme requirements.
- Monitoring non-conformances and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
