Job Description
Lonsite are looking for experienced Groundworkers for a long-term construction project in Lambeth, South London.
Applicants must live locally within the London Borough of Lambeth, as this position is part of a local employment initiative.
Duties
- Carrying out general groundworks and civils duties.
- Installing drainage systems, ducting and underground services.
- Kerbing, paving and preparing surfaces.
- Concreting and basic concrete finishing works.
- Excavation, trenching and ground preparation.
- Working safely alongside plant and machinery.
- Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
Requirements
- Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker card.
- Relevant Groundworks NVQ qualification.
- Previous experience working as a Groundworker on construction sites.
- Experience in drainage, ducting, kerbing, paving and concreting.
- Previous civils experience.
- Own hand tools.
- Two recent working references.
- Full PPE.
- Must be a local Lambeth resident.
