We are currently searching for a Site Manager who is experienced in delivering new build residential projects as a site lead. The project is brownfield redevelopment and is currently at foundations stage. Once completed, this scheme will have delivered two semi-detached houses. The scope is for this Site Manager to come in at Timber Frame stage and see it through to handover.
The Role:
- Take full responsibility for day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to specification.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, plant, and materials on site.
- Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Plan and monitor construction programmes, sequencing works to meet deadlines.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and project stakeholders to resolve site issues.
- Ensure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, RAMS, and building regulations.
- Monitor site progress, quality, and productivity, implementing corrective actions where required.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and site documentation.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience managing residential new build projects from cradle to grave.
- Experience with timber frame construction is beneficial but not essential.
- Solid experience in both internal and external packages.
- Applicant must hold SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid and Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator.
