We are looking for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join an RC frame contractor on a project based at Gatwick Airport.
Duties will include:
- Setting out RC frame works including columns, walls, slabs and associated elements
- Carrying out surveys and level checks
- Reading and interpreting construction and reinforcement drawings
- Completing QA records and site documentation
- Checking works are completed accurately and to specification
- Working closely with the site management and engineering teams
Requirements:
- Previous setting out experience on RC frame projects
- Confident using total stations and surveying equipment
- Strong understanding of construction drawings
- Good QA and documentation experience
- Relevant engineering qualification
- CSCS card
- Airport experience preferred but not essential for the right candidate
