We are currently searching for a Project Manager with a strong background in CSA (Civil, Structural and Architectural) package for one of the UK's most anticipated Data Centre projects. This 500,000 sqm campus is set to be the largest Data Centre hub in Europe, with the first phase lasting 3 years.
As Project Manager, you will be charged with overseeing a variety of packages, including:
- Earthworks
- Groundworks
- Substructure
- Superstructure
Responsibilities:
- Manage the successful delivery of Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) packages from pre-construction through to project completion.
- Coordinate and oversee all site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers to ensure efficient project execution.
- Develop, monitor, and update project programmes, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation, quality standards, design specifications, and project procedures.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, design teams, and internal departments to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Monitor project costs, manage variations, and work collaboratively with the commercial team to maximise project performance.
- Lead progress meetings, coordinate inspections and handovers, and ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and on time.
Required:
- Proven experience as a CSA Project Manager, Project Manager, or Senior Site Manager delivering large-scale civil engineering, infrastructure, data centre, or industrial projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering works, reinforced concrete structures, structural steel, groundworks, and architectural finishes.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating complex construction programmes.
- Excellent understanding of health & safety legislation, quality management systems, and construction best practices.
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets, variations, and contractual obligations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction programmes.
- Relevant qualifications including SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS Managerial and TW.
